Well I have had a lovely afternoon on my computer. I have ordered some supplies and tools to create some beautiful jewellery pieces, my mind is racing over all the creations I am going to make. I am so excited I have begun sketching some creations while I wait.. posssibly up to 3 to 4 weeks,,,finger crossed...
In the meantime as well as creating ideas in my head I will begin to make some more wire jewellery using the books I bough yesterday. So stay tuned for some lovely creative designs to be posted...

Next big craft/art adventure
Wow I am so excited.. soon I will be ordering my new jewellery tools t o try my hand at handstamped pendants. This is something I have been wanting to do for a while and when hubby asked what I wanted for my birthday there was no hesitation. So stay tuned for some new and interesting pieces when I get it.
On other craft news we went and hit the garage sales today - I had to control myself at one as there were 3 green bags of beads and books.. .Luckily she allowed me to look through them and select a few items. I got some more jewellery wire - pink, green and blue as well as a spool of sterling silver wire and two books one on bead weaving and one on creating wire jewellery. SO excited as the bead weaving one has some patterns for the crocheted ropes I have been doing. The wire one is excellent, techniques on how to make some wire shapes... Looks like I will be busy...
Oh almost forgot I got some beads as well including some lampwork beads the lady had made hereslf.
Also the topic came up about my 'Art and Craft Studio' when we eventually buy.. oh how I can dream... But I do know one day it will happen....
Anyway off out to dinner tonight so better go get sorted.
Cheers

10x10x10 Day 10
Its day 10, the final day of this task. I have quiet enjoyed doing this task.
Anyway I spent today with my hubby as the kids went to a play date at Grandma's and Poppys. We went for a stroll around the shops and then came home and chilled, I think we managed a nap... Sadly hubby had to go to work at 2pm... up side is he will be home at 10pm instead of midnight. I spent the afternoon day dreaming about a craft I want to do ... Okay thats enough here is my 10x10x10 for today...
STarting middle and going top left around clockwise:
1. My fish - even though we bought the tank for the kids almost two christmas's ago. They are the original fish they started out as around 6 cm long and are now huge - possibly 15cm.
2. The drink I am having with dinner, no sadly it is not red wine (what I orignally wanted) as we were all out , so I have to suffice with cordial.
3. My dinner, a yummy stir fried pork dish from tony ferguson recipes tonight accompanied by lettuce cups - it is rather yum...
4. The lovely bags that I bought from Joyce's madeit.com.au shop.
5. The origami purse I made from CH's origami book that I got him for his birthday - finally got one to work. I was planning on ten photos of different origami pieces.
6. The flowers now all in full bloom with the addition of the bird of paradise that Simon got from the garden.
7. The craft/art I have been day dreaming about , I would love to makes these...
8. The tools and equipment I need to buy before I can start making the above art/craft... Sadly I am having trouble finding the supplies in Australia....
9. The shoes at the front door.
10. The bag of clothes the kidlets bought back from Grandma's - no wonder they are missing some shorts and t-shirts...
So that is my final 10x10x10 blog.. what will i write about tomorrow...

10x10x10 Day 6
Okay its posted a day late but the pictures were taken yesterday evening.
We had a ham in the fridge that we wanted to cook so we had oragnised to go out to a friends house for lunch/dinner to chill and let the kids play and for us adults to catch up... Charlie was still sick - (looks like tonsillitus- so its a wait it out game... ) so movies and games were on the cards...
Anyway we had a lovely catch up and here are the 10x10x10 for day 6 - starting centre going bottom left and around:
1. My mobile phone cover - I have used my phone to take all the 10x10x10 phots except for day 5 - which I used my camera as I had it out for the party. Anyway my pink suede-y type pouch is covered in stickers that came off the origami box that Charlie made at his party to carry his cupcakes in - I rescued the stickers from the box before I trashed it - it had been tarnished with ising and was unsalvagable once the cupcakes had been eaten....
2. The key essential in my favourite drink at the moment - Cosmopolitan... yum yum yum (yes I wasn't too on the diet yesterday had three of those and man after not having much sugar of late gee whiz they were sweet but yumm)..
3. The jug used to mix my fave drink in, that was stored in the freezer - by the third drink the mix had gone icy like a slushie perfect for a nice warm day... Also in this picture is the glass I drank my cosmo out - not as good as my cosmo glasses at home but good enough heheh.
4. My sunnies after I stood on them in the lounge room, while being silly on the PS3 - they were easily fixed...
5. The microphone I was being silly while playing on the PS3 when I stood on my glasses. Singstar Motown and Queen - I have never done anything like it before and it was fun, fun, fun...
Oh I am sad to say I wasn't very good at it - barely rated above Tone Deaf....
6. The platter used for nibbles while we drank my fave drink...
7. One of the ingredients in my fave drink.
8. The ham bone that was left over from the yummy lunch/dinner ... so delishous...
9. Our pile of stuff we bought over - one green bag is full of art paper, pencils, books and games to keep the unwell child occupied - was barely used as he found a second wind playing wiht his friends.
10. The birthday cake remains before we ate them for dessert now temtation is out of my house - it was such a yummy yummy cake...
I will post on time today for today later -
Take care all cheers

10x10x10 day 3
Here goes my 10x10x10 for day 3. It is not inside my house as today there is a great big round think in the sky, yes there are a few clouds too but finally there is no rain!!! Hip Hip Horay!!!!
So here goes starting in the centre then bottom left and around clockwise.
1. I am starting here as you would know if are in Australia at present, that we have not seen this wonderful, glorious and warm orb alot - hardly at all due to those big fluffy things that have lots of holes in them - aka rain clouds and rain. I am n ot knocking the rain but gee whiz I have missed the sun.
2. Yes thats right thats what you get when the big shiny bright orb in the sky is at an angle and whose rays are interupted by some kind of solid object - aka a shadow.
3. Of course when you have the nice big shiny orb in the sky, it produces a lot of heat and coupled with wet soggy ground it turns into a very humid temperment. The best way to relax on a sunny day is to find a nice shady spot - and as you can see this nice shady spot ahs a lovely big shady tree and an excellent area for kids to play.
4. Sadly previous park attendees - or maybe passerbys have been careless and left their rubbish behind.
5. Now I have a nice shady spot, a park for the kids ah.... here is the lovely comfortable seat for me, where I can observe the kids and read my latest book.
6. Ah now thats so lovely - look a monkey... just kidding my youngest just hanging around... he wanted to climb over the top of the monkey bars - but mummy wouldn't let him.
7. Don't worry the ground is well padded with leaves onto of bark - a nice cushy landing if anyone should fall.
8. Some stumps - I think they are there for decoration I can't quiet tell what kids could use them for.
9. On the walk down Master 2 says "Mummy I forgot to take the ring that poppy gave me off at home, can you look after it. It tells your mood and it says if you are happy or not" (I wonder what green means)...
10. The bottom of the slide - it rained just last night and someone thought it may be funny to stack some bark and leaves on the end of the slide... ewwwww......

10x10x10 Day 2
Here is my day 2 post for 10x10x10:
As it is a wet rainy day we are stuck inside again, I decided to continue from yesterdays and choose an area of my house. Todays is my kitchen bench, small as it is I was surprised to see ten things to take a picture of... (again going clockwise from top left to centre)
1. This is a tea towel I folded this morning when I was sorting out the washing - apparently my entourage of boys didn't have any undies left (they have been to the beach a few times and have worn a pair under their shorts.. different ones each day apparnetly). As you can see although the clothes got put away the teatowel only made it to the bench.
2. An empty bowl with remnants of milk from a bowl of cheerios - my boys have had a lazy day and I let them go till they are hungry the choice was a bowl of cheerios with milk and yougurt...
3. Is an almost empty loaf of bread - after the cheerios they each had a cheese and mayonaise sandwich which was made before the cheerios and a n=mind change so they were put in the fridge for later which turned out to be just after the bowl of cheerios.
4. My almost empty cup of tea - hubby made it this morning for me when he got me up to watch the news - Floodings in Qld wiht him at 6am before he left for work. It was nice just him and me kids asleep - although the news stories were horrific... Oh its 1pm here and the cup has been refilled twice .... just so you know.
5. A butter knife used to spread butter and mayonaise and to cut the sandwhiches in half.
6. the sandwhich bags used to store the sandwhiches after the mind change to cheerios - mind really didnt have to use them.
7. The empty yogurt container that was eaten mixed into the cheerios and milk before the cheese and mayonaise sandwiches...
8. Napkins - that came from my friend bringing Maccas for the kids breakfast yesterday when she dropped her kids off for the day - sadly they are in the same spot I placed them yesterday morning - yes I did clean around them yesterday, last night and today....hehe
9. The shopping list with very important details of what to buy to make cupcales courtesy of birthday boy - must not forget to buy
them...
10. Sadly the flower from yesterdays 10x10x10 - i didnt put it in water and when it closed up for the night it didnt reopen...:(
Cheers

Honoured...
..I have been honoured by my awesome friend Joyce with a blog award, wow... cool... awesome ... words escape me... Hehe...
Anyway as a recipent of this award I must regale you all with seven lovely, interesting and amusing facts about Moi, Me the one and only Zyatica...
well here goes (forgive me in advance for rambling)....
1. I have a wacky sense of humour as you may have guessed. Despite the wacky sense of humour I consider myself a fun loving and interesting person.
2. I have been a primary teacher for one year - unfortunatley not with my own class but excitingly as a casual teacher at a very modern school that is striving into the realm of 21st Century teaching... I love teaching and look forward to what this year brings whether some fulltime work or more casual teaching that is sure to keep me on my toes.
3. After some prompting from some lovely friends I turned a hobby of mine into a business (its just starting) - so far I have had one jewllery party and sold a few items. I started combining a love of crochet with beads to make some lovely bead rope necklaces and braceletts and earrings. I love to experiment and have started looking at bending wire and creating some custom pieces (stay tuned I have several started but have yet to finish and post). I also started my own little made it shop at Zyatica Creations. I have yet to sell anything - mind I only have 5 items listed and these things take time.
4. I was a chef in my previous life (aka pre-kids). I do love cooking and love to get into the kitchen and bake yummy deserts. I also love getting in there now with my beautiful boys and cooking up a storm.
5. I am a big kid at heart - I love birthday parties and having two boys I truly enjoy planning party days for them ( and me ) as well as their friends to particiapate in. The latest one (this Saturday) involes 4 lovely friends and one day of fun - wii games, craft, baking, movies and PARTY!!!!!... I am so looking forward to it all...
6. I am a very creative person - love challenges whether using my hands or a computer. I ahve tried my hand at the following and love it all -
* crochet
* knitting
* beading
* scrapping booking in an album and digital
* collage
* decoupage
* Painting with acrylic
* papiermache
* drawing (though not too good at it)
* use excel to create useful workbooks - one day to be used in my teaching
* created animations with playdough, toys and a computer
the list goes on I have tried so many things that to list them all may bore you ....:)
7. I started this blog years ago as a university assignment for my teaching degree and it is only in the last few months have I been inspired to use it to display my craft and goings on. The inspiration came from a lovely friend (same one who nominated me) by her lovely writings and ramblings. I was stoked to have only one watcher and of recent I now have two.. its been a slow start but Iam sure it will pick up eventually...
Anyway cyber world that is 7 facts about me, about what may or may not make me tick....
So to continue I must nominate some blogs. The first one I know has been nominated but I think it is awesome and I constantly check it out for her whitty comments and goings on.

The latest one (this Saturday) involes 4 lovely friends and one day of fun - wii games, craft, baking, movies and PARTY!!!!!... I am so looking forward to it all...
6. I am a very creative person - love challenges whether using my hands or a computer. I ahve tried my hand at the following and love it all -
* crochet
* knitting
* beading
* scrapping booking in an album and digital
* collage
* decoupage
* Painting with acrylic
* papiermache

2011 - A new year and a new adventure
Well its 2011, ten days infact into 2011.
Already it appears to be flying by, it is the summer holidays here and I guess you wouldn't really know it as it has been wet, wet, sunny and wet yet again.
Currently its is raining again, we are blessed here as we haven't been inundated with water, unlike our fellow Australians up north in Queensland. Just today on the news another life lost and another town under water, when will it end. It is sad to think of people losing possessions, but these can be replaced. Losing a life and a loved one at that, is horrific. I also heard on the news about two very silly girls who decided to body board in the storm water, and people who decide to drive through water, do they not see the news and see how dangerous it is?????
Anyway back to something happy it is the holidays here (only 21 days left) and we have managed to attend the beach quiet a few times, what fun it is doing things as a family and with friends.
In 5 days my oldest baby turns 8, so we ahve been busy planning a humungous playdate birthday party - as I forgot to get some numbers before school ended - it has been decided to have a playdate party. This is going to be a fun day doing things that No.1 loves doing - craft, baking, movies, wii and of course the finally is a party.
I have been getting organised into what craft we can do so far we are going to make jewellery boxes from popsicle sticks and then decorated with beads and other bits and pieces (my plan is to use these as the party favours - fill them with goodies shhh... dont tell anyone.)... For the baking we are going to bake rainbow cupcakes and later in the day we will decorate with lollies and super yummy Betty Crocker icing...
We may also do some other baking but will decide later... then will come a movie - Depicable Me for the tenth time.. whose counting hehe... and Wii games - possibly wii fit...
I am looking forward to the day, he has 4 friends coming over and it shall be a fun day. Then after we have dinner with the family.
I have made a few jewllery pieces, one a bracelet I wasn't completly happy with so I pulled it to bits, the beads - wire wrapped are nice and already are being reused into a few other pieces involving a thing a ma jig and some bended wire.
I know I haven't mentioned what new adventure is ahead for us, at this present time I ahve no idea, but I am sure as the year progresses I will find out....
Cheers all off to chat, surf and create....
